I have a CAD condenser mic, a mixer, and the M-audio buddy preamp. How do I hook it up. no sound from mic? - best mic preamp
I have serious problems connecting my separate preamp to my mixer with my condenser microphone power. I use a 1 / 4 to XLR adapter, but I make no noise. The preamplifier is the M-Audio Partners.

The second answer is correct. The microphone is an XLR-XLR cable to the preamplifier transfer phantom power for microphone.
